sausage meat

I've cumberland sausage meat, its local as I live in Cumbria, im fed up doing sausage rolls and scotch eggs, anybody got a different recipe I can use please.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Mock game pie ..I used to make this years ago ..so it's a bit vague ..I don't have an actual recipe .. but just line a dish with pastry and you put the sausage meat in it which has been mixed with finely chopped onion and seasoned with plenty of parsely and black pepper ..You sort of layer it ..layer of sausagemeat,then thinly sliced toms and thinly sliced mushrooms ... then layer of sausage meat then make a couple of dents in the mixture with the back of a spoon and break an egg into them .. bung a pastry lid on top and bake .

Blondytops definately agree with making the sausage into meat balls. I am sure Mr Jamie Oliver made some like that recently.
Other idea is bbq it and invite your local answerbanker (erm no rhyming slang ta) round.
