Can anyone tell me where I can buy a spit roaster in the UK? I am looking for a battery operated Rotisserie which will go over a standard barbeque for cooking up to 20lbs of meat / poultry.

They are for sale in the USA on spitjack.com, I have already been in touch with them, but this is not going to be of any use, as I need the delivery brought forward asap for an impending birthday present in May.

Really need an agent in the UK - any ideas?

If you get one Stace - I'd personally cook the chicken, for example, in the oven first, and then put it onto the spit to finish off. If not, it can take hours to do properly, or give a burnt outer part, with uncooked meat inside.

ps? why aint you upstairs with ur other half? lol

im orf goodnight x
lol ozzie - the other half was doing stuff outside until about an hour and a half ago! He's now tucked up in bed, and I shall go shortly. Haven't been well for a few days - just getting over a bug, which the children've had as well. Then I went to the dentist's again today - yesterday now - urrgh!!!! Hate it. I'll stay in bed for a while longer today.
Night then! x

Jack Daniels - Thanks for the info. Unfortunately this webisite does not recognise spit roasts / rotisseries.......I emailed them to let them know but as they are just a search engine, don't take responsibility of the products / availabaility....Doesn't look like I am going to have any luck....
