I use baby oil
yes I was going to suggest baby oil too - the cleaners in our work use it on the lifts and other stainless steel surfaces.

Thanks everyone. I had heard about baby oil, but someone said the surface attracted dust afterwards.
i always use washing up liquid on a damp cloth , then buff with kitchen roll .
WD40 works a treat too on stainless steel
doctor power is brilliant for stainless steel. it's the jml stuff they sell in robert dyas and in woolies. 4.99 for a pot but it's fab and lasts ages
For an idea on how much baby oil to use a 10p size drop is sufficient to do both doors on an American fridge freezer.
