Yes, the only chocolate bar I've ever really liked - I use to buy it in a cornershop on the way to school in the eighties, and it was so chewy that I'd just about finish it as I got to school, a good 20 mins if memory serves correctly. Let's hope it makes a return, the way roast beef monster munch and golden nuggets have.
Did it have a turquoise wrapper with a cowboy on a horse throwing a lasso?

Bite through the chocolate, and chew real slow.
Yellow wrapper with the Texan lettering in either Stars and Stripes or (more likely) Confederate flag style.
"Any last requests gringo?" I used to love 'em !
My fave too. They were also great for extracting stubborn milk teeth.
Take a look at this link. In between Spanish Gold and Striper you will find a picture of a Texan.

Did the ad say "A man's got to chew, what a man's got to chew"? Loved those chocco bars.
Ive been askin people bout this for ages, started to think i'd dreamt them. I've only found this site today and have found all sorts of stuff that's been buggin me 4 ages,i'm hooked!!!
I was thinking of Trigger bars.
Texan bars dissapeared in 1984 during the miner's strike. Apparently Some of the ingredients couldn't get through the flying pickets and Roundtrees decided to scrap them.
