Just bought some cod fillets for our evening meal and was wondering if they would be ok to cook in the slow cooker rather than me looking all frazzled after slaving over a hot stove, and any suggestions to make them just that little bit special?

I personally wouldn't do the in a slow cooker. Fish doesn't take long to cook and if you do cook it for long it will dry out.

Wrap them in foil with a bit of butter salt and parsley and cook them in the oven for 20 - 25 minutes.
tigger is right ..wrap them in foil ..
I like a slice of lemon ,butter ,black
pepper ..try and enjoy ....
you'll murder the cod. never wise to cook fish or other seafoods in a slow cooker.
my cod it would have to be the toughtest of fish to stick in a slow cooker!!! no no no and say again no, like the others said fish is very delicate! betcha you paid a arm and fin and even a tentacle for those dont destroy by using a slow cooker!!!
Put them in a large casserole dish and microwave them. That is how I do all my everyday fish nowadays.
