My parents still use a teapot that they've had since the early 50's and they have other utensils such as a ladel, rolling pin and various pots and pans still in use from the 40's and 50's.
i have 2 loose-bottom cake tins which were my mums. she and my dad got married in 1948 so i would imagine they're from about then.

I have a Jar which I keep wooden spoons and the like in.

I found it 40 meters down in the wreck of a first world war German battleship the Crown Prince Wilhelm scuttled in Scapa Flow

I guess that makes it at least 90 years old - don't know if it counts as a utensil though
i did think of mentioning my husband, but as he's not much use in the kitchen he doesn't really count!!!! and he's a fair bit younger than my cake tins.
I have several things that's maybe one hundred or more years old. They have been passed down to me. Some of them, I don't even know exactly what they are used for. Think I might take photos of them and post on here; someone may know.
I have several dishes, silver cutleries, baking wares, pots. Due to the sentiment I keep most of them.
I've got a roasting tin with a lid, that has been passed to me from my Mum via my Nan.

It does the best roasts as the lid is tightly fitted, keeping in the moisture etc. Lovely.

I have my mums rolling pin and breadboard..they are at least 60 yrs old. I also have the last of a set of pottery kitchen canisters.....one for coffee-I think it may date from the 1930's.
I use regularly my great-grandmother's poss stick. This must be over 100 years old.
do you still use it for washing, or have you found a modern day use for it?
I have an old ballon whisk which belonged to my gran.
I have some cake tins which belonged to my mum. They must be 60 years old and she was going to throw them out! On everyday things I still use my potato peeler which I had when I got married 34 years ago - they don't make things to last any more.

Youre so right! i feel like they are special friends though i have other graters i still come back to the original utensils, got some cake tins that belonged to my nan so they must be ancient, funny isnt it how we miss them if they great broken nothing modern seems to replace them!
I have a hand held rotary whisk that I bought about 15 years ago,I also have various mixing bowls and baking trays that an ex boyfriend bought me for Christmas one year(about 18 years ago).........not exactly a romantic gift was it.pmsl.

Note to all men:NEVER buy your other half kitchen utensils as a present unless they have specifically asked for them, you may find any meals prepared with said utensils have been "doctored" in some way!
A hand held whisk that belonged to my step-Grandma.
