American name for Brisket

I am sure you can get this meat in the USA but I doubt if it's known by the same name. Can anybody tell me the equivalent or nearest type of meat that the yanks can get?

Oh thanks for that. So many foods go under different names and I thought brisket would be one of them. I am now wiser.

Only point for caution really is that we tend to have our brisket rolled whereas in America brisket does not tend to be rolled and is also sometimes slightly cured. When done this way though it seems to be referred to as "Corned Beef" although nothing like "our" corned beef... obviously :-)
