Nice restaurant/bistro, not a rip off but good food, near Shaftesbury Avenue London apart from Chinatown, please. Italian would be nice.

If you don't mind a 5-10 minute walk, I went here http://www.piccolinorestaurants.co.uk/heddonst reet.html today and it was amazing. Even a little courtyard to sit outside.

bushbaby we almost went to Piccolini, I liked the sound of that, but eventually we got a bus thru London to the Tower and ate at St Katharines Dock in The Dickens Inn ... very nice too . I would recommend it ! Thanks for all your help everyone, I will be back up there soon to sample the food again !
