I have not and its very unlikely that I will
I will not eat a sausage of any kind!!!!

It could even cost 1.60 each, but not a bite will pass my lips.

My Mum used to work for Walls making sausages and the stories she told, which I won't repeat, were bad!

In my much younger days when we were poor, sausages was not an option!!!
oh go on funnygirl!!!! do tell!!

I do like sausages ..but only buy them
from the local farm shop ..think they are
better than Asda !!
I used to have them when I was a student. They taste ok, but I dread to think what's in them.
Let's put it this way the last thing that went into these sausages was meat!!!
I saw on TV that they only have 34% of pork in them and it will not be the best cuts of pork. I hate to think what the other ingredients are,

A good pork sausage should have a least 80% of meat.
They are disgusting. Oily, fatty and full of much rusk but little meat. Probably great fuel for the army of chav kids out there.
I heard that they put all the nasty bits of pork in them ie. ears , guts, lungs, tails and testicals!!!
hi, i have bought some cos we are on a tight budget, they are ok, try grilling them not frying as the fat is moved away from them. they go ok in casserole, stroganoff and salsa sausages.
Gelda, nothing wrong with testicles...cow ones are considered a delicacy. As far as I'm concerned it is the protein content that's important. Sausages are not and never have been a low fat option. Personally, I like Somerfield Pork Sausages, they are tasty without being peppery. As long as you're not eating them every day I don't see what the fuss is about. XX
a butcher i know says that is the sort of thing that goes into all sausages, they dont put the best cuts in them, when it says pork it covers a very wide selection of the pig
any meat product that is that cheap cant have anything worth eating in it!! ewwwwwwwww
I wouldn't insult my dog with these cheap, nasty ASDA sausages. Yuch.

Sausages can be really good, but you need to go to someone like Simply Sausages or Bill O'Hagan.
I haven't but as foul as they may be they must have passed some EU food safety test of some sort so yes I will give them a try.

The only problem is I do not shop in ASDA so I will be darned if I go out of my way their just for some cheap bangers.

some of us are on a very tight budget each week and ok they are 16p for a pack, but they at the end of day are a way of making many many differn't meals, I can do anything with a pack of sausages! I cant afford to be fussy on a budget of 20 a week!
We make our own sausages and they're lovely!

I once worked with an ex-butcher and he told me some real horror stories about sausages. I'm sure you all know what I mean ......
Oh dear!! I wouldn't eat one of those Asda sausages if you gave one to me - but the price reflects a certain need, so....
Firewatch, when I was on a budget I bought loads of cheap sausages or even sausage meat, a bottle of passata, some red onions and loads of pasta.

If Jamie Oliver can a feed a family of four for a fiver i could have done it for about 3.50p. And very good, was my sausage pasta as well!!!!
wardie i give you a big kebab and more hun why have a little sasage like your little friend the noo
