Am spitting nails.....just bought eggs from corner shop......they have chinese characters all over.

Local farm, who served all within 20miles (incl) Harrods were closed by pressure from Animal Rights.

Farmer & fam now into landscape gardening.

Must be galling for him to watch the planes fly over his farm delivering eggs from China which AR cannot lobby!

Chef square shaped soups ...

i can't see it being worthwhile to import eggs from china. Were they in a chinese branded box? Did tyhey have "Produce Of China" on the box. Maybe it's us sending eggs to China so we print the Chinese lettering on them here?

the package was clear plastic; each egg is marked with chinese characters......could say 'chinese bird-flu' for all I know!

Makes me mad that our agriculture has been wiped out in favour of these off-shore suppliers!

So the land lays idle; which makes more work for land-owners to keep it under control.....or perhaps let it all wood up and import bears........while we return to caves
