We are having a sports/fun day at school on tues anyone got any ideas on some healthy options for parents and children to eat. We are selling fruit kebabs but dont know what else to sell. If anyone has any ideas i will be very happy to hear them. We are having a sweet stall and just want to give people the choice of a healthy eating stall as well. Just dont know what else to sell on it. Thanks

Yes we are outside and yes I am happy to have a bit if fun and to forget about all the things we should and should not eat but unfortunately we have had loads of complaints that there is no healthy options available. And as all schools are trying to promote healthy eating these days then i can see some of the parents point of view. I am all for letting the children have whatever they like for a change but you always get moany parents that like to complain about anything they can think of just to cause problems. We just want to keep the peace for a few hours that's all.
mini pitta breads are good all supermarkets sell them-u can stuff the bbqed veg in there, or stuff them with a few litttle pieces of chicken breast and add a dollop of youghurt, hummus ect to it with a bit of salad and its lovely-healthy yummy and fun
for a sweet stall? make a hole (scoop out the flesh) in them mini apples you can get from blue parrot range in sainsbury's, and stuff the apple with fruit salad, or banana puree, or a few marshmallows (they are fat free), or bake some whole apples and drizzle them with honey.
other than fruit theres not much else thats totally healthy-try makin some honey cakes-fairy cakes made with honey instead of sugar.
