Today, with population increase, easy motorway accesses & air supplies the G & Ps have found a better income in housing development. Govt legislate to councils increased housing; councils utilise their own green spaces then turn to brown field sites.
See numbers of foreign workers (cheapies) picking & plucking...they all want a share in this society.

Everyday we hear abour Green Issues and Carbon Footprints, yet we ship fruit and veg here by the plane load.
I would like to stop the building, control the entry to the UK and for our leaders to really start thinking about the future.
Wind is taking over from coal.
Waterways are being opened up for transportation.
