Coriander gone to seed can i still use it?

Been growing my own kitchen herbs for sometime with great results now my coriander plant is going to seed and now has small white flowers,can i still use this up or should i just chuck it out!

Hi puddicat, yes you can still use it - even the flowers but you can also freeze it ready to use when you need it & don't need to throw it out

Sorry hun, I should've mentioned that if the stalks go a bit stringy/woody then use only the leaves but otherwise use as much of the stalks as you can

Mine did this as well (a few years ago) but I collected the seeds and they were lovely crushed up and added to curry spices.
Beware of the green seeds. They have the most obnoxious taste, but you must try them once!!
Try them on your freinds.
