How do you scramble eggs in a microwave?? i thought you had to stir or it would be an omelette?? and mine is poached on a potato waffle so the yolk runs into all the squares yummy!
A good omelette, with wild mushrooms or asparagus.
Or coddled: Put one in a ramekin with lots of butter, black pepper and salt. Bake in a hot oven (or put in shallow boiling water in a large pan with a lid). After a minute or two take out briefly, stir it a little, and put some grated cheese on top. Put back in for a few minutes -- it should be just liquid in the middle. OK, do more than one ramekin... Eat with a teaspoon like a boiled egg. Lovely! Good quick thing for kids too.
In a quiche! I get frozen raw pie crusts, and put in a layer of cheese, a layer of veggies, and then pour in 3 eggs mixed with 1 cup of milk, and bake it. MMMMMM!
If you scramble in a microwave you don't have to scrape the gunk off the pan. Put in a bowl, stir with fork after, say, 1.5 minutes, then put back in and stir after 1 min, then 40 secs, then 30. Until you get perfect consistency. Might sound fiddly, but anything's better than that gunky pan.
