Man evolved with this knowledge, it was not a "lightbulb over the head" moment in history when Mr Alan Fisher of 27 Bermondsey Drive, Walsall decided to see what an egg would taste like. Animals have been eating each others eggs since the first egg was laid both as a concentrated source of food and as a means of reducing the populatio of competing species. We have evolved from animals ergo we eat eggs.
