Camping cooking...!

Im going camping soon and just thought id ask if anyone has any tasty diffrent meals i can cook when im there, using a camping stove?? i have pasta ideas and rice, but is there any others?..x

1 lb hamburger (Ya'll call it mince, no?)
1 sm onion
1 sm green pepper
1 lrg can pinto beans
1 lrg can Pork & Beans
1 lrg can tomatoes
shredded cheese
chili powder
Brown hamburger with onion and green pepper (chopped). Then just add the canned items. Add chili powder if desired. Simmer for a little while. Spoon into soup bowls and top with shredded cheese.
Or this:
2-3 slices bacon
1 large onion
1 head of cabbage
salt pepper
garlic powder
In a large dutch oven or heavy frying pan, cook chopped up bacon until almost burnt. Add chopped onion and cabbage and stir until cabbage is wilted. Add enough water to cover. Bring to a boil. Cook until most of the water is gone and cabbage is desired tenderness. If need be, more water can be added. Add seasoning to taste.
Or breakfast:
A day or so before you go, boil several potatoes till fairly done... leave the skins on and place in a plastic bag.
Then, on breakfast day:
Fry about 1/2 pound of bacon (we use thick sliced hickory smoked) until barely done, not crisp. Add a thinly sliced onion and as many of the potatoes as you need and fry until potatoes are slightly browned. Meanwhile, mwhipabout 4 to 6 eggs with a fork in a dish with salt, pepper and a little red pepper, if you like and then add to potatoes and stir until done. Lastly add some shredded cheese... Cook until cheese is melted (just a minute or so)... serve warm with cowboy coffee...

Where I live, in the Southwestern Desert of the USA, dutch oven cooking is popular in camp. I never camp without a healthy-sized bag of onions, carrots and taters. The meat will come from my work and be my reward.
Wtatever critters ye have over there, squirrels, rabbits, other small game, can be stewed into a sumptuous meal in an hour or so, over a hot campfire.
Clean and boil yer gameuntil it is falling off the bone. Pull it and let it cool. Add chunks of onion, carrot, atter, or whatever is to yer liking and boil it in the meat's gravy. Keep the liquid level up! Preferably with beer but water will do!
As the veggies cook, remove the bone from the meat and, time yerself. This is the Hard Part! Time the doneness and the doneness of the veggies, so they both are done, but not over-done, at the same time! This is also the time to add the Spices and herbs ye been craving! Coarse Ground Black Pepper is a favorite of mine, a bay leaf or two, a little salt, garlic . . . . . then let it all simmer fer half an hour or so!

hi lovely, we go camping alot and we cook meals before we go. like we cook curry and jus put it into a big storage tub, we freeze it the night before we go and then let it defrost on the way to camp. we then just re heat it in a saucepan on the camp stove. we also do
