You can either spoon out with boiled veg or salad. Or shape into burgers, grill or fry for crust and serve with buttered asparagus/runner beans (rb-boiled to soften) or grilled/fried/sauteed corgettes, freshly boiled corn on the cob (buttered).

Bully beef and cabbage!
In a frying pan, lightly fry, onions, garlic, sliced red peppers and a couple of tomatoes. I add hot peppers to give it a kick!
Add your cabbage which has also been sliced.
Add a little liquid stock, just to keep the cabbage moist whilst it is being cooked.
When cabbage tender, add bully beef, mix in and serve with rice.

At the end of one army exercise, the cook was in a panic, saying that he'd nothing left for our final meal before we returned to base. I had a look, and there were baked beans, corned beef, sultanas, and curry powder. Problem solved. Put hem all in a pot and heat them up. Cook wasn't sure, but was dead chuffed when everyone asked for more.
