Can you freeze butter there is a very good offer at Asda right now for a large tub of spreadable Country Life butter for �1, would it be worth buying say �10 worth or will it spoil ?

Yep you can freeze butter, i do it regularly!!!!

hi there Dee Sa. I also freeze butter all the time and skimmed milk but only the kind that comes in plastic bottles. not sure if you can freeze semi-skimmed.
I freeze semi-skimmed milk and cheese.
oh i didnt know u could freeze cheese. can you freeze the soft cheese as well as the hard cheese.
I buy the Value range of cheddar, grate it all up and freeze it then use it for topping dishes like pasta, jacket potato and cottage pie etc straight from the freezer.

How do you defrost the cheese and milk? Just pop into the fridge until thawed???
