Finely chop and burn 2 onions in ghee with garlic. Add a jar of Pataks vindaloo paste, a chopped Dorset Naga chilli, and simmer for an hour. 5 minutes before serving add 2 bags of King Prawns from Iceland.
This is my recipe Lakitu:
4 tbs sugar
2 tbs golden syrup
1 tsp bicarb
Butter a baking tray
Heat syrup and add sugar and stir well. Turn up heat slightly and wait for formation of bubbles then turn down heat and simmer for 3 to 4 mins. The sugar should turn darker. Remove from heat when it becomes golden and stir in the bicarb until the mixture froths up then pour into baking tray and leave to cool completely. You can't really cut it with a knife I just batter it with the rolling pin. You can coat the pieces with chocolate if you like or crush it down and use it as a topping for ice cream.Mmmmmmmmmm..
It's the stuff that's inside a crunchie bar, but it's all broken up into pop in mouth sized squares. The local fudge company does it here and I always buy a bag of it from them, but would love to make it myself :o)
cazz - i also get extra fluff from the bottom of my bag when i take my pot noodles to work! i never wash the fork up and never remember to put a clean one in either! LOL x
