Yellow colouring alternative to saffron
21 Answers
In Spain, an alternative to the expensive saffron is yellow colouring. I know that it only gives food colour and doesnt have a taste. Do any of the supermarkets sell this yellow powder?

Regarding turmeric, I do find it has a fairly strong taste which is ok in lentil dals and veggie stews/curries etc.
