Can you cook burgers from frozen or must they be defrosted first?

Yes, you can cook them from frozen.

Yes you can-as a basic rule of thumb you can cook red meats from frozen but not white.

You could just take it out of the freezer now if you're planning on having it today, pop it on a plate, place a bit of kitchen roll over it (well, you don't have to, I prefer to) and it will be defrosted by dinner time :o)

if you buy burgers ready frozen the cooking instructions usually tell you to cook them from frozen. i think they hold together a bit better.
