I have put my jam in the tupperware pots. How long will it keep? I suppose I'll have to give it all away :(
If I get some jars tomorrow, would that work?
I really appreciate your advice! x

Hello! If you re-boil your jam to the setting point stage before you bottle in sterilised jam jars you should be fine. I think keeping time in Tupperware will probably be for only a few weeks.Good luck.
You could make freezer jam out of it and it will keep for at least a year. At this point, I assume it's began setting up with the use of Pectin. Simply let it cool and place it, covered tightly to eliminate odors, and freeze.

To get a somewhat tighter and more airtight seal, you could melt parrafin canning wax and pour about 1/2 inch on the top of each container before sealing with its top, but it's not neccessary...

Best of luck!
