I think LaurenWilson is one of our American visitors. Down South in the states (not sure about elsewhere) they serve biscuits in most fast food places. They are a sort of bread roll type thing. Here is a recipie for the ones they have at KFC:

Depends on where you're located. I'm in the Detroit, Michigan, area (in the US), and right now BK has a breakfast special, two sausage biscuits for $2.00.

The problem that you are having is related to the language. What you call a biscuit in the US we in the UK call... well we don't have those here except at the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurants. BUT we have the WORD buscuit and it refers to what you would call either a cookie or a cracker.

So asking a UK web site what a sausage and cookie cost at Burger King (which we do have) is a rather nonsensical question.

I believe that BK has a sausage on a croisant. Next time I am by there I will look to see the price. But generally they prices tend to be nearly the same here as they are there but in Pounds! The $0.99 menu there is our 99p menu here....
