food labelling 3% fat or 90% fat free ??

i only just noticed the labelling on some of the food:

soo confusing to me ...

eg

A. .only 3 % fat

B .90% fat Free?

so i guess A contains less fat than B??

are they trying to fool us???

To be classed as fat free, food has to have 2% or less fat. This being 3% would classify it as 90% fat free.

Well as for curries, I make my own, after an Indian friend showed me how, and tbh, I can't fault the result. I love them.

terambulan, try this.

Burn two chopped onions with garlic. Add a tin of Patak's extra-hot vindaloo paste, a tin of tomatoes, and masses of black pepper. If you have any Dorset Naga chillies, chop and add one now. If however you don't, add about 5 chopped red Scotch Bonnets. 5 mins before serving, add 1kg of frozen king prawns.

Serve with brown rice for that added fibre effect. Stay at home tomorrow.
ffs, I haven't got all those ingredients but :)) I do have a bottle of lime pickle......on brown bread......yummmmmy!
If something is 3% per cent fat it is 97% fat free.
