I don't shop there, but weren't they one of the first shops to ban artificial colours and trans-fats (or something like!) from their foods?

a bit iffy, but can't be all bad I suppose...

Sorry hun!...so you wouldn't eat the stuff ^^^^ above??????

....I forgot to mention the 'value' sausages-40% meat...lol
Oh dear. I'll have to say indifferent.
They might've banned artificial colourings, but for those sort of prices, they're probs full of potentially hazardous preservatives, excess salt and/or sugar. The only thing I can say in Iceland's favour, is that they tend to stock quite a good variety of things, so if someione's on a tight budget, maybe it's a blessing for them.

I'm NOT the one who is eating this stuff,bez........thank goodness.....
Great bargain for those on a diet : - )
Question Author
And what diet is that,trt??

Some people on low incomes rely on that sort of food as it's the only way they know of feeding a family on a budget. Lack of school cooking lessons, and not having cooking skills passed down to them, means many don't know what to do with cheap cuts of real meat which make a good meal.

It's not all bad in Iceland, or probably Farm Foods. But it takes a bit of know how and skill to decide what to buy and what to steer clear of. As it does in all the food shops.
Pasta, you missed the point of my sarcastic comment, zzzzzz.
There's quite a bit of info on the labels though rabbity. If I had to feed a family on very little money, I'd use fresh veg and meat cuts to makes stews, do jacket potatoes with baked beans or a vegetable stir fry, make my own pies, own chips if necessary - anything rather than eat the rubbish you get in cheapo tinned and frozen foodstuff.
