Thank you folks for your suggestions regarding my query previously , on a choice of wine .

Being the only one in my househould that partakes of any alchohol ; can you please advise how long after opening a bottle of wine can it be left before it starts to ' go off '

I assume no one has yet invented a device to recork the bottle .

the only answer, drink the entire bottle immediatly. but it depends really on what type of wine it is, and you can get stoppers to reseal the bottle, most wines will last a day or so, maybe longer in the fridge.
