fish ideas

I would like to cook fish more this year but am not sure what to do I was thinking of doing something where you wrap them in foil can you use any fish for this and should I put anything in with the fish.
If you was making a fish bake say ( a bit like Youngs ready meals, I know its a cop out so want some ideas to make my own) do you poach the fish before covering in a sauce or can you put in raw and then top with sauce and veg.
I would be grateful for any ideas.
Thank you

I put new potatoes in first then after about 5 or 6 minutes put salmon fillets in. I put these in a shallow dish and with a squeeze of lemon and little garlic. Steam for about 5 mins. I add fresh vegetables in as well. You don't get any sauce but a really easy and nutritious meal
Any fish is lovely done in a foil parcel, I especially like trout, (when my son in law catches some)
I just pour on a bit of melted butter, sprinkle on a bit of black pepper, lemon juice and fresh or dried parsley.
This is nice for most fish.
My daughter made this fish pie last week, and it was absolutely beautiful, one of Jamie Olivers recipes.
I don`t think it was cheap, but there`s seven in her family, plus she brought me a large portion, which would have done for two, with some veg.

I often put fish such as salmon, trout, tuna and fresh mackerel in foil with a squeeze of lemon juice and some black pepper: and serve with broccoli, cauliflower gratin or whatever. With white fish I tend to add something more tasty such as whole mustard and a drop of white wine.
I often make fish pies and yes, I always poach the fish lightly before mixing into sauce (ie bring the pan to boil with the fish, once it boils turn heat off and leave covered)
