yes! i remember!  For some reason I want to say they were organic, but I'm not 100% sure about that.  Ah, the endless jokes my mum and i made about eating roadkill... :-s

Not sure they were organic, they might have been, but I think they claimed to be more wholesome than other crisps. At first they were hedgehog FLAVOUR crisps, with a bit of blurb on the packet claiming that they gave the "true taste of hedgehog without harming one single spine of one single hedgehog". I recall that a donation to St Tiggywinkle's hedgehog charity was also included in the purchase price. Later, Hedgehog became merely a brand of crisp.....
Hedgehog crisps? Wouldn't they have cut your throat a bit on the way down? Sorry...
I remember those, weren't they made by the same people who still make T-Bone Steak crisps? They were for (how can I put this politically correct) pikeys.
I thought it was big hoax on Thats Life (the programme with Esther Rhantzen).
They definitely existed. I remember eating them! I think they were made by Bensons but not 100% certain.

The full sordid tale!
