beef curry

wanting to make a beef curry to put in pancakes for tomorrow, an ideas how to make a quick one? ive got some left over beef from sunday lunch, thought of putting in apple and raisins, should i put onion in and how do i get a sauce going, just got patak curry paste?

If I was doing it I think I would make up a quick curry paste by blitzing together a couple of chillies, turmeric, ginger, coriander, cumin and a little oil (quantities depend on how much beef you have and how hot you like it).
Then I would heat oil in the pan and put the paste into the hot pan. Wait until you smell all the spices beginning to release their goodness before you add some sliced onions and your beef pieces. Let them get well coated in the spices and then add as much water as you want. Let it bubble away until the beef is heated through and the sauce is at your required consistency.
