a recipe for truffles calls for heavy cream, i have whipping cream, is that roughly the same?

heavy cream is double cream, whipping cream may not bind them enough
yeah that will do, but double would be better.
you could get round this by substituting some of the cream with unsalted butter which would hold them together

I think heavy cream is the US name for double cream

actually what i do have is called heavy whipping cream and i am currently in the us so do i have double cream therefore and any good for the recipe i wonder?
