Scooby Doo Choc Cake

Hi. I'm attempting to make a SD Choc cake; I know how to make the cake, but I'm wanting to create the shape for his head (only making head & neck). I was going to create his face & features with coloured icing - but if anyone has any tips at all, I'd be most grateful.
