what's the worst tasting thing...
76 Answers
you've ever had in your mouth? You know, so bad that you shudder even when spitting it out? I have just had an mouldy brazil nut. I have NEVER tasted anything like it in my life! It was almost a chemical, toxiny feel, like it would really make me ill. I wondered if anything else could taste so bad?

soy sauce
apple juice
orange juice
cranberry juice
worcester sauce
chilli

olive oil
mustard powder
finely chopped pepper
finely chopped onion
garlic
it was disgusting raw and even more disgusting cooked.
It went all the same thickness with no lumps and looked and smelt ok but it was grose.

Thousand year old egg in Hong Kong. A white that was yellowy Clear jelly with greeny blue streaks, and a yolk that was green slime.
Revolting, slimey, oozy, and vile. had to use all my will power not to hurl up all over the table in the restaurant. Had to grab a handful of pickled ginger and shove it in my mouth to try and sear the flavour away.

thanks for the reminder pbeach.
just grabbed this from wikipedia - glad I didnt eat it !
When cooking and eating lutefisk, it is important to clean the lutefisk and its residue off of pans, plates, and utensils immediately. Lutefisk left overnight becomes nearly impossible to remove. Sterling silver should never be used in the cooking, serving or eating of lutefisk, which will permanently ruin silver.
