oh right, thanks tiggerblue, so i should buy wholemeal instead then?
i want the best sort as im trying to eat more healthily and lose a few pounds, plus ive noticed my blood sugar levels (i have type 2 diabetes) are quite high after ive eaten my spaghetti meal when ive used the durham wheat sort, will wholemeal be better for that do you think?

I would say that wholewheat pasta was better for you Nolaces but for blood sugar and diabetes issues I would ask your GP to refer you to a dietician. They would be the best people to advise on what types of pasta and other carbs you can eat to keep your blood sugar levels at a reasonable level.
