wedding cake

i have bought a 3 tier wedding cake from 'm n s' which are indervidualy packed in boxes, i dont want to use the post things to hold the cakes up as i want to lay them on top of each other!!.. so my question is..how do i stick them together so they are very sercure? please let me know..thankyou

I used plastic rods cut to depth of cake inserted into base cake and the next layer of cake ( on it's board ) sat on the top of the rods. If you don't want to use the boards the cakes come on then if you leave the rods proud then you should be able to push next layer down onto the rods.
