I am arranging a funeral and have booked the room for afterwards but I don't know how many people to cater for. The venue are doing the food and I have to give them a call on Monday. There will be about 150 people there - does anyone know how many people I should cater for? Thank you.

When my mother's funeral was arranged, we asked people to let us know if they could come. That way we could have a rough idea of numbers. If you think about 150 people will attend, then I would say that number. At least you will have enough.

If it is for someone close you have my sympathies.
At my Dad's funeral we had a rolling buffet. As the food ran out they brought more out until people stopped eating. It all depends on your budget...
