What sort of meal can I make with a tin of stewed steak in gravy?

You've probably used it by now but . . .

It's quite nice when simply served with new potatoes and sliced green beans. (A bit of black pepper helps to 'spice it up' a bit. Even better, add a little red wine or a few drops of Tabasco).

Alternatively, put it into an oven dish and top it with mashed potato, to create a 'chunky' shepherd's pie. (Again, 'spicing it up' helps a bit. Try some Worcestershire sauce, or some chilli powder). Cook at gas mark 6 (or 200C) for about 30 minutes.
