Mini quiches are always nice when done in a muffin tray
Vol-au-vents...buy the pastry cases from tescos then mix up some small prawns with thousand island, mushrooms in a white sauce, chicken in curried mayonaise etc
Honey roasted spuds. get a pack of new or charlotte potatoes, drizzle in olive oil and runny honey and roast in the oven until cooked.
Dried apricots wrapped in bacon....bit of a slant on the traditional devils on horseback. Two dried apricots, wrap in a thin rasher of bacon...preferably streaky, impale on a cocktail stick then cook in oven until done.
Brie and cranberry filo parcels. get about 4 sheets of filo pastry, cut into 4" squares, add a small bit of brie and a little cranberry sauce, wrap them up like a wonton, oven bake.
Chicken wings in BBQ sauce. Get some chicken wings and put in a baking dish, make up a barbeque sauce using 2 parts tomato ketchup, 1 part soy sauce, 1 part golden syrup or honey, 1 part brown sugar. Spread over wings
Mini yorkshires and gravy dip. You'll need to get a tray with small "holes" in or you could use standard size ones. Make yorkshires as per sunday roast, leave to cool, serve with a gravy dip.
There's a few to think about...all of which i've tried and proved most successful at parties.
