over the course of my lifetime only several times have i witnessed a dog do the "macarana" and at least two of those times i had been in the company of someone who had  smelled it on the way from infant school, but not swaying along the ever winding track of changing the subject from the political argument that is " shall we legalise weed or what??" i do believe that cannabis is not really a drug but a figment of the predujiced peoples minds that rule with an iron fist the lives of our youth!! i ask the person who asked this question , do you think if it was legalized would it benifiet you  and if so do you think it benifiet everyone as much as it does you?

look in the mirror !! drugs are part of our lives like it , lump it.......or buy it!!

I don't think it would benefit me much, in the meaning that it wouldn't change my life much. Most of the people who hasen't smoked weed has "it is illegal " as a main reason. I think it would benefit those who do smoke it. If it is an underground movement it has got a more dangueres commerce with smuggling and dealing in secrecy. And often the arguement that weed leads to heavier **** is heard. If you buy it at a coffeshop the risk of being exposed to that dangereus enviroment isn't as big, as if you have to buy it at a crackden

Another benefit is that think about the situation today, how many people doesn't get abused when they are drunk, by drunk people, all the domestic violence. I don't know who said it but "I have never meet me a angry potsmoker".

Most of the people who hasen't smoked weed hasn't got "it is illegal " as a main reason. The don't smoke because they think it is bad for their health and so on

I'm 47,and have smoked marijuana for the best part of 30 years now,and not once have I ever considered moving onto anything harder.I own my own business and have three lovely children.I'd rather get my rocks off this way than get out of my head on alcohol, and risk permanent liver damage. Also, legalising it would leave the law more room to go after the heroin, crack and cocaine dealers who do far more damage than waccy baccy will ever do..

Great answer and proof tnx Karabulut

On the positive side, if it was legalised, the government could sell the remaining confiscated weed, tax sales of it to help lower other taxes (yeah right!), undercut the black market which will force some people back to normal tax paying work, and regulate the quality.

The government are lazy, the quality would not improve, they would buy it from the people who can offer the best prices, they would slap on loads of tax...for people that enjoy smoking marijuana or use it for medicinal purposes, it would be a waste of time. The government are crooks, they are only interested in making their lives better. If you want something totally fu**ed up, let the government take control of it!
