Don't do sandwiches!! Put out buttered rolls and sliced meat, say 1lb each of ham, beef, chicken/turkey. get two dozen bridge rolls and cut in half top with 1/2 dozen eggs, add snipped in box of cress and mayo, and on the ones left 4 tins of tuna, drained add mayo or salad dressing, Go to somewhere like Iceland and get sausage rolls, (get bite sized ones, popular with the kids) chicken drumsticks, quiche, cocktail sausages, four lots of '4' dips, and multi-bags of crisps, bread sticks, couple of lettuce, 1 cucumber, 1kg tomatoes cut into quarters, sliced spanish onions, celery sticks, cook 1kg baby new potatoes and when cold cut in half, add diced spring onions and mayo for potato salad. Shred 1 small or 1/2 a large white cabbage 2 large carrots and some some very finely chopped onion, add mayo or dressing for coleslaw. to boiled pasta add chopped peppers and mayo for pasta salad. To cooked rice add diced peppers, peas, onion, for rice salad. Hard boiled eggs in half. Kids will eat things like chicken nuggets, sausages, corn snacks, Iceland again for gateaux, cheesecakes - they do larger sizes. For something a little luxurious, smoked salmon, or prawns, for seafod sauce, add 1 part tomato ketchup to two parts mayo, dash of worcester sauce, squeeze of lemon. hope this helps
