Korai recipe

Does anyone have a recipe for korai that can be made from a base sauce. My base is made using onions, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, turmeric and paprika and is used by a lot of indian restaurants. I have recipes for most other dishes using this base but cannot find one for korai.

I have some Indian friends who own a restaurant and they told me the Balti recipe is the Korai recipe, one and the same.
