Pate on a sliced french stick? Soups.
Do you want simple?

Tomato, mozzerella and basil stacks with balsamic vinegar.

Stack them one by one...as tall as you like and pop in the oven to warm through until the cheese melts. Then drizzle with a little bit of balsamic. It's much tastier than it sounds...

Spinach pate is also very nice....

Prawn cocktail,yum yum!
Melon or Figs wrapped in parma ham
I had that the other day...with rocket and mozzerella.
Carrot and orange soup , easy to make , but a bit different ...
Italian tricolore. Slices of big tomato, avocado and mozzarella arranged tastefully on the plate. Simple, looks good and tastes good.
