....does this programme annoy anyone else? Really winds me up when they itemise stuff in the 'beat the budget' round - who on here can go and buy just one egg at a time - not to mention the other stuff!

The programme is dire and awt is lost without is autocue!!

It's on the presumption that you have eggs in the store cupboard and you use just one of them.

If the shelf price for the eggs says they are being sold 'per pack' or similar, you have to buy the pack. If it says 'per dozen', you are quite entitled to buy the eggs singly. They may humpf about it, but you are within your rights.
