Morning AB'ers, fish van has just left......tonights menu;

Got some beautiful cod fillet, so deep fried cod fillet in crispy golden beer batter, with hand cut chips, garden or mushy peas, homemade tartar sauce

OR Got some nice chunky pieces of cod, naturally smoked haddock, salmon and some lovely juicy prawns, with a creamy lemony parsley sauce, topped off with creamy mash, served with salad or garden peas

OR Lamb balti with pilau rice and naan bread, selection of pickles, poppadums.

OR sautee of lambs liver and onions, bacon rolls creamy mash, steamed greens, onion gravy

Puds: blackberry and apple crumble, creamy velvety custard
Fruits of the forest 'Eton mess' (Fruit mixed with broken meringue pieces and whipped cream)
rum and chocolate roulade

Hello Mercia, I'm steering clear of the kitchen today; can't stand the stench of fish or seafood. Otherwise the menu looks good as usual. The desserts sounds absolutely delish! Can just imagine that warm crumble with vanilla ice cream... mmmmmyum!

pericat - I couldn't do one of those cookery shows because I can't stand anybody in the kitchen with me who isn't useful or doing something - I'm afraid I'd be telling them in no uncertain terms to 'bog off' and leave me alone, I'm busy'...plus I don't like JohnTorode..rude man he is!!
