Why bother making it? It only costs about 50p for a 500gram packet, that works out at 7p per portion. (3oz dry weight per portion

Fresh pasta is so much better than dry

I bought one years ago when it was the trendy thing to do. I must have been mad. It took forever to make fresh pasta that I could have bought from a supermarket. I keep wondering whether to ebay it, but it's v heavy and would cost a fortune to post. As everyone says, pasta is so cheap to buy and of such good quality these days, why give yourself all the extra agro. I like the door stop idea by the way :-)

It's keeping my Fondue Set company in the cupboard. One day.....

Use ours for lasagne or other sheet type pastas, but buy in dried for spag and other tubes.
Haven't used the corn-on-the-cob forks or avocado dishes for years.
