i cooked it yesterday, and it went well.

I melted the chocolate with a little butter so it wouldn't then solidify, and it turned out just right.

I put the chocolate in the base, and the orange rind in the topping, which it could have done a little bit more of.

And it was healthy, reduce fat and salt digestives, healthy living cream cheese, dark chocolate, orange, and extra yumminess.

we had a three course meal, and dad doesn't eat cheesecake, so we had 1/4 each yesterday and will polish the rest off later.

and unlike most shop bought ones, it was about 1/3 base 2/3 topping, so you could actually taste the chocolately base and not have a mouthful of sickly topping.
Sounds nice molly. If you make another we'll all come round for a tasting !

also, perhaps a little less butter, i think i added too much, incase the chocolate made the base too solid. But there was enough chocolate.

Someone had warned me of just melting chocolate and adding it to the base, and theirs was rock solid.
