Toastie's
14 Answers
I'm thinking of buying a Toastie thingy, I've got an electric oven & grill the grill takes soo long to heat up I can't be bothered to wait for a 'quick' snack (I really miss my gas cooker) so one of those toastie machines I think will solve my prob. Any reccomendations folks?

Simple solution ,toaster bags .You just make your sandwich sandwich ,pop it in the bag and then in the toaster .Lovely .They are reusable and cheap to buy in most pound shops or if you want posh ones Lakeland do them .

i use to use a sandwich maker for years until it conked out & then started to use a pannini press instead - took a little getting use to, but it's great for toasted sarnies.
obviously I can't put the 'wet' things like i did in the toastie maker e.g. baked beans or egg because of the flat plates, where as you know in a toasted sandwich maker its 'cupped' to hold the bread & fillings in.
