i love paella mariscos. isn´t valencia famous for it?
i´m cooking at home today, would you beleive it, i´m making home made fish and chips with baked beans. followed by a nice rioja, i know i should´ve got a good white wine. but i´m not too fussed.
¡¡que aproveche!!
sounds nice, i made a seafood paella last night but i gotta have a roast dinner tonight (at least its chicken, the best of the worst, not lamb or beef). I should have one tomorrow, but we have lots of people round and there won't be enough room (we could squeeze but i can't be bothered) so i'll have a school dinner and a sandwich tomorrow eveing before going to cadets.

Vibes... why don't you come here and eat a proper meal and leave the other rubbish at home !

Piggy.. yes Paella de Marisco is popular throughout Spain. I make the Paella del Senyoret, which is the seafood without the shells. I can't stand picking with my food.

Molly... there's nowt wrong with a good roast dinner. I just couldn't be bothered to cook all that today and it's going to be too hot for all that here.
How does molly find the time to cook so much.....I should think she should be locked in her room, revising.

Anyway.....I shall be making Chicken in a Black pepper and Garlic sauce later-most likely with just plain Basmati Rice to go with it,and maybe some stir-fried green beans.

Pasta.... that sounds lovely ! I should be more adventurous and try new recipes. I always seem to choose from a list of about half a dozen things on a Sunday and never challenge myself.
Hi hun....I bought some corn-fed chicken yesterday...and decided to try some recipes I'd not made in ages. So last night it was Chicken in a Spring onion sauce....rather than freeze the remaining pieces-another new/old dish is on for tonight.
We've only just finished our full breakfast. Tonight is either a lovely chicken salad or a hot chicken dish with chorizo.

I was intending to have a corn fed chicken today, but I got to Mercadona too late yesterday. They'd run out of Salmon too, so I had to dash round to Carrefour.

We really should open up a restaurant together ;-)

Boxy... that sounds lovely. There's a nice restaurant near here and they do a starter of baby squids and chorizo - absolutely lush !
que asco, how disgusting is chorizo?? in 4 years i´ve yet to taste one with any resemblance to something edible, its just like trying to chew tasteless rubber, and yet its popular in all of españa.
sorry to all you chorizo lovers

Well it beats a Richmond sausage anyday !

So what tapas do you like then, Piggy?
Im grazing today but reading what youre all having maybe I should cook up even a stir fry.

NoM - do hope you werent showing off with your fancy wine-would be very rude to do that-might trigger another thread and we dont want that now do we? ;)

There are two women on this site who are coming across as very resentful of others, don't you think? In fact, the other week, one posted a thread about an encounter at a train station and promptly disappeared, leaving a troll to come on and give me the third degree about whether or not I've been telling the truth about that encounter. And she didn't even question it when the thread got pulled. All very pre-meditated, I'm sure. Poodi's thread sounds all very familiar... but then she is the glove puppet.

Oh btw.. the wine was 6.40 from Mercadona. I had to save up for it, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. ;-)
