and thank you for you good wishes. I have e-mailed her sister, and texted ttfn and she is missing us all . She said please don't fret she is getting there but not by pall-bearers yet, (typical of her).
She's having stents put in tomorrow, and she doesn't know how long she'll be in for but she misses all on AB and sends her thanks for your kind thoughts. Her sister is visiting her every day, I bet she's jiggered.
Hi gran, give ttfn my best and also apologies. I believe I was a little rude the other week. My Mum had that done and made a most remarkable recovery, fit as a fiddle afterwards. xxx
Will do jb and lardy, A stent is a small mesh sleeve that is inserted into a vein that has collapsed or collapsing to keep the vein open for the blood to flow through. It has to get imbedded into the wall of the vein so usually warfarin is taken for a while to keep the blood thin until the stent is established. My OH has one he felt great after it was done.
Hi gran, please add my good wishes to ttfn in your next email or text. I was thinking last night how lovely it is that what ttfn would call our "cyber-friends" are so supportive on here when things go awry - I'm glad I'm an ABer (even if it does take up a tad too much time sometimes!). ♥
I thought that too Boxy, it must feel strange to her sister to come on here and realise all these strangers care about her sister. I keep thinking too that perhaps I should get up and walk about a bit more often. I can sit here for a long time and it can't be good being inactive for an hour or two at a time.
I probably spend longer sitting here than I do in an aeroplane going on holiday - Q: Is AB a risk for DVT, should we be wearing support socks before we log in?!!
