Well, the only way I could eat them was straight from the freezer. At room temperature they were far too greasy.
Back to the recipe book!!!!

I have to admit that the proportions that you posted were a bit - or a lot - high on the fat/butter side, compared to other recipes I have seen.

On reflection it must have been a misprint although feedback from others using the recipe oooed and aarred over the result!!
