Surely coating and frying them in batter would make them taste nicer? Maybe even dipping in melted cheese and then breadcrumbs before frying? Agree or do you have a better way of making them taste palatable to those that want to eat them?

I also find artificial sweeteners leave an unpleasant aftertaste. I even get the aftertaste if I don't know I have had the sweetener. eg in drinks which have both artificial sweetener and sugar.

I absolutely love brussel sprouts. Just cooked for about 5 or 6 minutes and still having a little bit of crunch. Surely the bitter brussel sprouts are a thing of the past. I remember them as a child. Nowadays they all taste quite sweet to me. Must be my genes. I like sour and bitter anyway. Not a lover of sweet.
